Specific Service Delivery

Q1: How do I know if your work is right for me? A: If you are seeking a path that helps you reconnect with inner calm, honour the life-affirming aspects of ancestry, and navigate life transitions with dignity and clarity, this work may resonate with you. Our offerings are particularly suited to: •Life-long learners •High-responsibility professionals •Spiritual seekers who are not aligned with organised religion •Individuals who feel called to remember who they are beneath the noise of modern life. We invite you to begin with the Self-Assessment, which helps you identify which pathway best aligns with the future you wish to cultivate for yourself.

Q2: Is your work religious? A: No. This work is not religious. It is soul-centred, meaning it acknowledges the non-physical aspects of human experience such as intuition, inner knowing, ancestral memory, and life energy, without adherence to religious doctrine, worship, or belief systems. Clients from all faiths and none are welcome.

Q3: What is the foundation of your teachings? A: The work offered through Blue Water Family Academy is not rooted in religious ordination or ministry. I am an author and wellness advocate, serving as a Journey-Guide and accountability partner, offering support shaped by lived experience, continued study, and reflective practice. My approach is grounded in Indigenous Knowledge systems, with particular emphasis on African Indigenous Knowledge, alongside complementary modern tools, including: •Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) – to support inquiry, clarity, and customised reflection •Hypnotherapy principles – used for deep relaxation and stress release (not clinical treatment) •The I Ching (Book of Changes) – used as a reflective tool for inner guidance •Horology and time awareness – exploring ways to honour natural cycles, seasons, and life phases I lead by example, continually refining my own practices to support vitality, presence, and sustainable wellbeing. My role is not to direct belief, but to support others in remembering who they are and how to begin again with purpose and peace.

Q4: Do you perform funerals, weddings, naming ceremonies, or other rites? A: No. I do not offer formal rites such as funerals, weddings, naming ceremonies, or religious sacraments. I do, however, offer bespoke presentations and reflective sessions, delivered online, in-person, or in nature, by invitation and subject to availability. I also support ancestral remembrance practices, particularly: •During the first 12-month cycle following the return of a loved one to the ancestors •On meaningful anniversaries in the years that follow. These offerings are reflective and commemorative in nature, not ceremonial rites.

Q5: Is your work only for people of African heritage? A: No. While the work is deeply rooted in African Indigenous Knowledge systems, it is designed for the global family and for individuals of all heritage groups who value life-affirming traditions and reflective living. Clients from all backgrounds are welcome, provided they approach the work with respect, openness, and a willingness to engage thoughtfully.
